Yes. I saw them regularly from when they were first installed onward. They
shone skyward just as described. For those wondering where the icicles were
that they were looking for they were usually inside tunnels or at or near
the mouth of a tunnel.

Just the answer we were looking for. But I don't think the lights were looking for icicles, they were warning lights. :-)
