I think you will find that 9004 was made by the Ottawa Car Co. c.1931
and not by St. Louis Car, though the design was by the Electro-Motive
Corp.
There was an article in Branchline about this series of gas-electric
(later converted to diesel) cars, but I do not have the issue number
close at hand.
