Rob,

The book has 2 photos of the Arrowhead train on page 13. One was taken circa 1915. The consist includes D3h 4-6-0 #7340, one baggage car and 3 coaches (?). The other was taken circa 1931. Only the head end portion of the train is in view. It has D4g #464, 2- 36' "Fowler " boxcars and Express car #3879. Presumably this is a mixed train as in later years on this run.
All equipment on both trains is wood sheathed.

Hope this helps.

I just got back from a trip to that region. We visted Cranbrook, Nelson, Castlegar, Trail and Rossland. We also visited Slocan, Kaslo, Rosebery, Sandon, Nakusp and Revelstoke. This was an all railfan trip so we were able to visit all the "train spots".

Thanks for the reference Paul. Any photos in the book on the Arrowhead to
Revelstoke trains?
