Hi, all,
I'd like to talk about abortion from Chinese perspective.
As you may all know about the ONE child policy in China, I'd like to share my
experience in China about abortion.
I got several observations:
a) Firstly, most of abortion are voluntary rather than being forced.
b) In case of really being forced, instead of feeling guilty, clients may get
caught in hatred towards the whole country
and love for the country. And usually the medical doctor involved are affected
deeply and abandon their jobs later.
c) usually the clients can't get in touch with grieve, especially, man.
d) if there're more than four abortions or above, severe symptoms may be found
with their own body and emotion. Substantial change in their body shape is not
uncommon and they may become severe depressive.
e) sometime clients may have more than six abortions or above, it seems to be
related with atonement for the guilt -of their family ancestors. e.g.
perpetrators during political movement - I use my children to pay for what we
did to you in the past. Interestingly, many of those clients have become
kindergarten owners or teachers.
I usually have four G's procedures and it seems to work with many clients:
1. Guilt - face their own guilt, usually this is the most difficult part.
2. Grieve - let clients to express fully their grieve for children
3. Goodbye - to really say goodbye with love to aborted children
4. Growth - turn to future with constructive movement
Switching to another level, China has made huge sacrifice in order to survive
in a dignified way. The message that I can deliver in my workshop is to respect
those life who have paid for so much and treasure what we have got so far.
Facing with world's crisis today, shortage of resources, polluted air, water
and soil, melting ices and rising temperature etc. Perhaps we will face
difficult decisions regarding life in the future, won't we?

would make the children insecure.
In general, what happens between the parents is none of the business of the
kids. In cases where
the aborted child claims a place in the birth order, tell the other children
that mom
had a miscarriage. An abortion is an intentional miscarriage.
The issue with birth order is that the following kids need to know that
someone was in the
womb before them, otherwise they can be confused about where they fit in, in
the order.
The earliest he has seen an aborted fetus stake its claim to a place in a
families birth order, is
2 ? to 3 months. This can be tested by using a representative to see if it
stands to take a place in
the line of siblings.
Abortion is not equivalent to murder. But in cases where the abortion
happens very late, like 6 months
or later, the perpetrator energy has a similar effect as a murder to the
family system.
