When you make a CD you have you compile a list of the files that you are
going to put on the CD.
What is the name of the application that you use for that ?
The compilation of files is usually displayed as a graphic at the bottom
of the compilation window.
It starts and 0 and runs out to xxx MB.
If the options in that app are set to compile a max of 650 MB the bar
turns red when you exceed 650MB.
In my app, Nero, I have the option of setting the compile size to 650,
700MB or whatever.
I can't believe that your app doesn't provide the same option unless
it's a 1988 model ????

Do you use the same app to compile a burn for the CD burner or the DVD
burner ???
