Rebecca at Sunnybrook Farm is what I heard it as and I never read any of that or the Hardy Boys or any of that - no interest. I think the last fiction book I read was a Jules Verne book (probably 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea) and I much more enjoyed the movie than the book.
