It is clearly a better way to approach divorce. I have increased the % of

I learned about collaborative law when doing mediation training in New
York. I am so impressed with the process. I have long believed that the
adversarial system is actually a destructive process to families in divorce
and the collaborative law practice and process conforms to my philosophy to
help families, not to destroy them. I believe that individual should be
empowered to reach agreements that effect their lives long term and I do not
belive from my 12 years of experience in Family Law that the court system
does this.
I hope to practice collaboratively exclusively in the future. I am
working with another trained collab lawer, Diane Hitzeman, to establiish a
group in our county in PA.
You have my permission to use my comments. I only ask that you let me
know you will be doing so. Thank you, Linda Pellish
