Dear Donna;
Certainly the situation you describe is more likely to fail than succeed,
because the suspicious spouse is unlikely to ever trust the process (ex-spouse)
as much as is necessary. However, perhaps the doubt can be assuaged by sending
the doubter to "another" attorney, or (better yet,) a (less suspicious)
mental health person that can establish enough trust to overcome the doubt.
This is
where the art is more important than the science.
