At a minimum, suggest that your client give the other spouse places
to find information on the web and, definitely, give names of other

George-- I quite agree.
I think we must also (this is harder then it sounds!) remember the
fundamental of collaborative practice -- MODELING behavior for the client.
we don t sell in the 4 way-- and we can't start by selling.for those u=oif us
who are still eager to have our first case (which i now must count myself as,
as i have NOT done a full team CD case) i think we have to tell clients the
*whole* truth-- that we are still learning, and we *do* have an "ax to grind"
in that we are excited about this approach, and it may show.
then model the listening skills (and agreeing with or affirming) client
concerns rather than arguing with them -- very hard for us attorneys and yes I
am
guilty!) plus all that George said.
My usual too many cents worth!
