I agree. Based on the precedent of MS-DOS 4.0, I think 4.0 should be
reserved for an upgrade that is radical enough to introduce a whole
new lot of bugs. :-)
Look at the sequence of MS Windows 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 and 4.0 (aka 95, but
still numbered 4.0... in Control Panel|System). Each introduced a
major, obvious change in the user interface. On that scale, does the
new Calmira measure up to an integer increment?
