I have done so and I got about five minutes in to doing what I wanted wasn't
even off the ground and IYP stopped talking I had no FO and any command I
gave was not recognized!  Had to restart computer to reset everything!

Uninstall IYP does not remove said files.

 

Please try what I have suggested and let me know what happens.

Hello Adam,

 

First, ensure that you are in the online mode.

 

Then, in the root folder of your simulator, you will find these 3 files:

 

ItsYourPlaneSTT.xml

ItsYourPlaneSTTtemp.xml

ItsYourPlaneTTS.xml

 

Please delete a 3 files. Then, re-start IYP.

 

If this does not resolve the problem, we'll go to the next step.

Hi,
What tts engine are you using?  If you go into the tts properties in control
panel, does the test work?  Have you tried other voices?
