Ok sorry about the confusion! I went to control panel programs features clicked on IYP and the only option I could choose was to remove the application restore to previous state was graded out! I used to have the same issue with IYP where she would quit talking altogether. Wish I knew how I fixed it because it really seemed to fix itself in my case. Then, in the root folder of your simulator, you will find these 3 files: ItsYourPlaneSTT.xml ItsYourPlaneSTTtemp.xml ItsYourPlaneTTS.xml Please delete a 3 files. Then, re-start IYP. If this does not resolve the problem, we'll go to the next step.
