Hi,
You should really look at Project Gutenberg. They also offer the majority
of the same classics for free. The difference is that bookshare took their
copies from PG. The PG editions are better proofread and have more errors
fixed. If you're really interested, you should take a look. I know for
certain that Call of the Wild is there because I've read it. They have
been cleaning up and fixing the Dickens books. A Christmas Carol has gone
through at least two new editions since bookshare took theirs. The only
thing better about bookshare is the DAISY and BRF formats that PG doesn't
offer, but I've been working with them to offer at least Braille
files. You should really look at Project Gutenberg first for public domain
books. They try for 99.9% accuracy and generally succeed.
