Actually you can rig it so that the bp runs off a c. I have not bought one myself but I know that raul did and is pleased with it. There is a device which has a pretend AA battery and a leaded AA battery leading to a lighter jack, and radio shack sells a converter from lighter to a C. The whole setup will run you around 50 bucks, but if you are going to be stuck in one place for awhile this may be an alternative.
