While I believe that isn't entirely on topic for this list, I don't think a
proto type has been manufactured yet. The contract for designing and
manufacturing a player was only awarded a few months ago to a group of
folks. All relevant information is on the NLS web site. That is where I've
read the information that I have talked about.
