There was an article on the (tulsa) news the other day about a woman who
purchased a cell phone for her daughter. The first month her bill was over
$1,400 due primarily to text messaging...

Makes sense to me. I have a cell phone, and use it as a phone, to call
someone voice and if no answer, I leave a voice mail. Many cell phones only
have the typical keypad so entering text is no simple task (except
apparently for teenagers).
The technology these days is awesome. But there are hidden costs to
this. And since its not related to the BP I shall leave it at that. LOL
