I'm guessing that the nice leather case for the bookport people talked about
would also keep the unit from sliding around when taking notes.

Here's a very low-tech suggestion.
When using the Braille keyboard, the unit is constantly tilting and banging
because of the belt clip making the back surface unlevel.
How about a removable clip or something molded to the back of the battery
cover to balance the unit.
Hum, maybe that's where they could put that razor...
