I love the Book port for all the things we talk about. For me, however, it seems that playing mp3 audio files, music or spoken word, on my Book port really uses up the battery more quickly than using it for other file types. I would rather use a different player for that type of all night music listening and save my Book port battery for reading. The little audio players out there now with the hard drives, and that are rechargeble, such as my Rio Carbon with its 5 gig of space, recharges when plugged into the AC adaptor or to the USB port. So that is is, is just me. Good listening, whatever audio boat you float upon. Thanks to the post recently with the tip about the Newsline papers now available email delivery subscription. I had not heard about that. No more tipping the newboy. Such a great time we have now. Except of course if we consider all the bad times we are also having. Hmmm. In a folder of music, I have, there are about three hours of classical music, not an all night session, but that's pretty good. Yep It's not an I-Pod, It is a wonderful BookPort, ain't it great, smile. Any way even a selectable, random play feature would sure help. At least then I could put my favorite twenty-five cantatas in and have sweet listening all night! Why should I be asked to pay for another device, when the BP can, could, do it? Good Listening to all during this Holiday Season! I have often said that it would be great if the unit could be set up in such a way that after it was done with one folder, it would switch to the next folder and play the files in the second folder and so forth, the I pod does this. Is there any way to have the BP loaded so as to play all night?
