Hi Aaron and list, I do something similar. I have an ICD P28, a digital recorder from Sony. My reader records into this, and I save everything as .wav files and then convert to mp3's with CDex. It involves a step or two more than reading into the computer, but the digital recorder is even more portable than a Laptop, and it's still better than recording things in realtime. And to make this relevant, I always listen to the files on my BP. <grin> It's great to be able to have such levels of navigation in audio files. This was immensely helpful when I was on a hiring pannel for work. I recorded the aplications and was then able to "highlight" important info with marks.
