Lynda:

In a case like this, where the Book Port worked and then stops, it is
more of a question of reformatting a card, or having a directory that is
too full and not a question of reinstalling the software, which wouldn't
help you in this particular case.

Last night, my husband was downloading books and transfering to the
book port. All of a sudden, when he later connected the book port to
the computer to put more books on it, it didn't recognize the book port.
Is the only option to uninstall the book port then reinstall it, or is
there something else that can be done?
