the difference between your printer, scanner and the bp is that the bp shows 
as a removeable drive where the other two are just perifferies.

I wouldn't try it.  I destroyed my first muvo that way, I think that's what
caused it.  If you can do the safely remove, then DO IT! If it's not there,
then you can't; so no use worrying about it.
