You should create your folders using the transfer software. Then, you
can either move your files using the transfer software, or use Bookport
commands to move them.
You cannot create new folders using just the bookport.

FIRMWARE 2.X?

Creating subfolders sounds is a strategy I rely on in PC and other media
use. What is the best way to do this with the Bookpart Compact Flash
card? Can I create a subfolder from my desktop via the Bookport
software and then move my books to that folder or do I have to do it
from the Bookport itself and if so, how can I name the folder?
I know that it's all in the docs but if anyone has this rocking
about in their head and would like to share it, I'd appreciate it.
thanks,
Dan
