Try uploading those files to your computer. Then transfer them to the

Thanks, what I am doing is taking the card with the files recorded on it out of the p t r and putting it in the book port. I even tried lowering the bit rate to see if that worked and, know it didn't.
I have even been told in certain countries it is illegal to have unfiltered files.
Thanks in advance some one, Phil Parr.

Don't know why it would do that if they're .mp3's. Are you sending them via BP transfer? Although they should work either way. Lou

Subject: [bookport] My conundrum.
When I try to play the m p 3 files I have recorded on my p t r book port says this.
unfiltered files not supported
It is of course not my intention to have unfiltered files so, how do I filter them and get my little bookport to play them?
Phil Parr.
