Why not wait? If I'm going to spend the money, why not wait until the new
hardware with its certain changes and improvements is released? If I had to
have the Book Port for work, I'd buy it today. As it is, I am quite happy
with my iPod Shuffle and Creative Muvo. As soon as the new Book Port is
released, I'll buy it, give the iPod to my wife, and retire or sell the
Muvo. I can wait even if the hardware isn't released for a year.

Maybe you know something I don't, and if that's the case, then I apologize.
But APH has made no definite statement about a new hardware upgrade, let
alone it coming out in the next few months. I would be very surprised if we
see it by the first of next year. To me, this seems like deciding not to by
a car until the 2008 models come out, when a current model would work very
well.

Thanks. I've learned a few things since then and may actually resubmit
another one some time. I'm looking forward to learning a lot from this list.
I plan to wait for the new hardware version of Book Port in the next few
months. Thanks for all your help.

Hi Jamie and list:

You've described the reverse channel issue very well, and yes, both the Book
port and book courier have it.

The earbuds can be worn either way, so if you found things aren't right,
just switch them around.

You are the guy who did a very nice job on the DS2 review on the
Blindcooltech podcast. Thanks for providing that.

Cheers,
Dave
