Just to clarify, the manufacturer of those speakers is JBL, with a B, as in Bravo. I just want to make sure you get the right model, there the absolutely best speakers around for their size. I love them, and they make my BookPort very happy. <Grin>

Sony will sell you some travel speakers which are great for the unit, but
they are by far not the only ones, there is the type which has a place for
cd discs, and a lot of people use the area to put the unit in.
I will be taking a look at a set by JVL, which is about $100 at radio shack
but can be obtained at Amazon for about $30 less.

We have indeed discussed an internal speaker. Some of us like the idea. Some of us don't. Standard headphones might be more comfortable for you. Or you could buy an external speaker for your Bookport.
