[bookport] Re: External speaker for use with the Bookport

Hi Paula and list:
You could buy a small speaker of the type that is carried by Radio Shack. I
think they are called mobile speakers. It can be plugged directly into the
headphone jack of the Bookport. Alternatively, you could use a patch cable
to connect the headphone jack of the Bookport to the auxiliary input of a
cassette player, such as the Library of Congress C1. You can then press play
on the cassette player, then press the two key on the Bookport. It seems to
me that this forfeits some of the convenience of the Bookport's portability,
but perhaps that isn't as important to you. So go for it.
