I've had that a couple times over the 2 years I've had the bp. Usually pulling
the batteries or hitting 2 plus b to reset it clears it up. I don't know what
the cause was either but when I've gotten rid of it, all seemed well after
that. Lou

Subject: [bookport] Error message when trying to read Bookport Help manual

  Hi all,
This morning, when pressed Help on my Bookport, I got the following
message, repeated over and over ad infinitum - can only stop it by pulling the
batteries:

Offset error buffer overflow - moving on

Same thing happens if I try to read the Bookport manual file.
Everything else works fine.
    What's going on?
  Thanks,
  Dan
