If i'm wrong I'm sure half a dozen folks will tell me so . In any case, i'm thinking that if you got the books at 128 kbps that you might get 70 hours out of four gigs. Keep in mind, math is not my strong suit. I seem to remember at that 128 kbps sound quality 9 megs translates to around ten minutes.

Anyway, some oikind soul on this list will set me straight if need be.

Happy New Year to All,
I am using the card that came with my bookport (256 meg) but have since bought a 4gb card. It works just fine. Can anyone who has used the 4gb card tell me how many hours of audio files such as books from Audible.com can be placed on that card? Right now I have two books on it but can't find out how much time or space I have left. I keep reading the manual but can't find the key combination to get this information. I just love my machine and have ordered that case, expensive as it is. We have lots of rain and damp weather and I think this will give it great protection.

Enjoy the holiday.
