Nora: You can use the 8 key on the Book Port to get that information. Also, when connected to the PC, you can press alt plus f to highlight the Book Port folder, then read the Status bar and it will show you the space used and the amount of free space. It works just fine. Can anyone who has used the 4gb card tell me how many hours of audio files such as books from Audible.com can be placed on that card? Right now I have two books on it but can't find out how much time or space I have left. I keep reading the manual but can't find the key combination to get this information. I just love my machine and have ordered that case, expensive as it is. We have lots of rain and damp weather and I think this will give it great protection. Enjoy the holiday.
