Rob,
1. After formatting in the BP and then connecting BP Tran fails to start.
The removeable drive window appeard instead. It shows no files. I right
click the pane and click Properties. It shows a full card with no files, a
capacity of 0.97GB (normally 1.95GB) and File System FAT32.
2. I did the same reading in the card reader and the results are the same.
3. The results are the same with 2 different 2GB cards in 2 different BP's.
I do remember that a couple of times that the file system was classified as
unknown.
4. A 16 and a 128MB card formatted normally.
5. Both 2GB cards have since been formatted in the card reader and appear
to be working normally in the BP's.
6. I have a 3rd card that has not been formatted under Firmware 2.2.

We are still investigating, but one thing is for sure. It isn't your
particular BP. Its all about firmware!

Rob,
I would be willing to send one of my BP's as well. If I only sent the
card
and it turned out to be OK that would leave the question unanswered.

I think what you will find is that your problem is relatively
isolated.
Our manufacturer tried two different 2GB cards, and all is fine.
Others
on this list are using 2GB cards with no problem. It may be that we
will
need to borrow one of your cards to see what is going on.

I have had a problem with 2 2GB cards on 2 Bookports which no one
else,
to
my knowledge, has had.... yet. Could it be that I'm the only one that
has
attempted reformatting a 2GB? I say this because it seems that
everyone's
focuc seems to be on the 4GB at this time
