Try it and see. Leave the original .cap file as is - don't rename it - but make a copy of it by using ctrl+c then paste it into a different folder. We are doing this to preserve the original .cap file. With the file you copied to another folder rename it .wma and see if it playsback for you.

you can also rename the files i believe to wma and they wil also play petro
can you confirm this?

If a capture is interrupted by a power outage or some such occurrence the
.cap files may result. They can often be converted with Replay Converter.
The resulting recordings aren't the most stable or the highest in quality
but you may still be able to hear most of the audio content.

The CAP extension is a temporary file Replay creates while recording.
Sometimes, these files don't get recorded correctly or are missing some
data
and remain as CAP files.

If you change the name from WGN.cap to WGN.mp3, for example, they will
often
play.
