Hello Peter,
Darcy and Holly are not commenting on NFB matters. Rather, they're
commenting on blind community matters where the largest American
organization of the blind may be misrepresenting certain aspects of
accessibility on the Mac.
I don't own a Mac. I'm a Windows person. Even so, I am not going to sit in
judgment of a platform about which I know little, especially when I know at
least ten blind people who are using most aspects of the Mac quite
successfully now. I have it from reliable sources whom I've learned to trust
over the years that NFB is just dead wrong in many ways with this Braille
Monitor article. We should all take care to have our facts straight before
going public, especially when criticism is being delivered.
