Ok.  Good to know.  Now do I need to do anything with that Cd that came
with it?  I knowwe we don't use their software, but do we have to run it
at all?  Sorry for the repetition.

Yes, that's exactly it, Deb.  Remember, though, that it could be only
the units that I've used and not all of them.  I've only used two of
them, installing the firmware for two friends of mine, and on both, the
audio was a little lower than my 799.  It's no problem, and it won't
hurt anything you do.  It's just something I observed.  You may not even
notice.  I can't wait to hear your first podcast with the new unit.
