Marsha, I think that is why us on the left have been losing out the past four
decades. The right has been very good at communicating not only *what* they
want to do but (*how* they will do it, and the voting people latch on to that.
I think we need to do more than just telling people what we want to accomplish
and also tell people the how. Sadly, Trump and Cruz have figured this out and
people are lapping it up. Cruz has addressed the how of his anti terrorism crap
with the how of carpet bombing and nuclear war in the middle east. People in
thn the evangelic heartland like to hear that. Trump is addressing the how of
curtailing undocumented immigration by talking about building walls and turning
people back at the borders and again the uneducated wites are lapping it up. If
the left ever did something similar by speaking to the how as much as the what
then I think we may have a chance turning things around both in the oval office
and in congress.
