Alice, in response to you saying that it is no longer true that younger voters
stay away from the polls in the general election I asked how you know that for
sure since we have not had the general election yet. No big deal.

Problem here is that much of Bernie's support comes from population segments
that usually have very low voter turn out in the general election. This is
especially true among younger voters.

now that would be a historical first and it would be interesting to see how the
electoral college handles that one.

my solution is this: if Bernie does not win the Dem nomination, get EVERYONE
you know to put Bernie in as a write-in...there's more than one way to skin a
cat, and if he wins the popular vote, then...

Hi Carl,
Now that was a brilliantly written piece and I agree with you. Funny thing, I
could feel my resolve not to vote for Clinton breaking during the last few
weeks as the votes came in. If I feel like there is a chance that Massachusetts
could go for Trump in November, I will be voting for Clinton. My poor little
nose will be hurting from holding it so tight but the thought of Trump taking
the Wite House is so repulsive that it makes the status quo look not so bad.
What a sad time to be an American..
