Hi, Grace. I use the word count feature in Word now, too. That's what I
ended up doing with the tornado book I submitted a while back, because I
didn't realize that was the reason the submission wasn't going through. I
didn't get a message about it or anything and it was so frustrating, so
that's definitely what I'll do from now on, at least until there's some kind
of addition to the site that will let us know when we've reached the limit.
Take care.

When I write my short synopsis I use the Word count feature in Word to see
how many characters I have. When I am ready to submit the book I just paste
it into the short synopsis field and usually I have no problems.
