That sometimes happens when books with section breaks instead of page
breaks have different page setups for different settings. You can go to
page setup, select applies to whole document (not this section as is
probably the default) and then set the page size and margins to
something reasonable (like all margins 1 inch and page size letter).
Another and maybe simpler way if you have a copy saved from just before
you changed the section breaks to page breaks is to go to the end of the
book, set up the find and replace to convert section breaks to page
breaks, then select the find and replace option to search backwards. I
don't know why this works, but I discovered it by accident on one of the
first books I proofed for bookshare which would go into the one
character line format when I tried to convert section breaks to page breaks.
