Monica, have you ever checked out sticky keys? That might help too. Bob----- Original Message ----- From: "Monica Willyard" <rhyami@xxxxxxxxx>

Hi, Mayrie. I didn't know about control F6, so we've both learned something new. (smile) I'm not a big fan of using two-handed hotkeys unless I absolutely have to. I mostly use the number pad for scanning since my left hand is holding the book on my scanner. I ended up using a free program called AutoHotkey to make a hotkey that behaves like control tab that I can push with my right hand while scanning. I made the keystroke control right bracket simulate the control tab function. Yeah, I know it's geeky. It saves me time though because I can move from document to document while scanning in continuous scan mode. I think some people become geeks because we're lazy and want shortcuts while doing what we love. At least that's true for me.
