That's an interesting story, Kelly. I know I have a
good imagination, but it sounds as if the seeing eye
(lower case) guide dogs could sense that your dog
wasn't one of them--was different--and didn't like it.
A little prejudice there agains hearing ear dogs.
Perhaps prejudice can exist in the animal kingdom as
well as the human. (smile).

I'm not real famiiliar with types of dogs. Is 20
pounds and half corgi and half cairn terrier small? My
daughter's beagle mix is small, but she has a thing
about large dogs. When they go to doggie park or on a
walk, if she sees large dogs she starts to get
belligerent--barks and wants to fight them--but she's
fine with dogs her own size and smaller dogs. It's as
if she has some kind of complex and wants to prove
something--that she's just as good as they are. Or
she's jealous of their size.

I know I'm putting human emotions onto the dogs--I
forget what that's called. I wish I could know what
they say to each other and what they think--and what
they dream about when they're making those various
noises when they sleep. (I had dogs growing up).
