Denise,
Excellent idea. I'm going to do some playing tomorrow with what I've
been reading the last couple of days. I talked with Freedom Scientific's
technical folks a week or so back, and they say there is no way to get rid of
the linebreaks in the scanning process, as there is no such command.
If what I try tomorrow works (putting the document into Microsoft Word,
and then deleting the linebreaks--not the paragraph breaks) I'll let you know.
I feel pretty stupid. I'll bet I've scanned twenty or thirty thousand
pages for myself, and it has worked. I really thought I was pretty good at it.

I'm using OB 8+. I'm having similar difficulties. I'm working with
someone who's trying to help me figure what to do differently to make
the scans acceptable. We need to stay in touch and compare notes.
