If you want to protect chapter header you must put a page number or a header that is consistent with the book.
So yes, the chapter headers were stripped because there was nothing before it. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jill O'Connell" <jillocon@xxxxxxxxxx>

Kellie, This particular book had no print page numbers. Do you think that's why the chapter headings were eliminated? If this is true, then it seems to me that's one more reason that books without print page numbers should be rejected plus the other reason that one doesn't know if there are missing pages without reading the entire book for context. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kellie Hartmann" <hart0421@xxxxxxx>To: <bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, February 27, 2007 10:52 AM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: chapter headingsHi Jill,Blank lines don't actually help protect chapter headings. What you'd need to do is put a fake header above them--either the header that appears on the other pages or at least the page number, or maybe a duplicate of the chapter heading.Hth, Kellie To unsubscribe from this list send a blank Email to bksvol-discuss-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxput the word 'unsubscribe' by itself in the subject line.
