"Do you like reading fifty emails a day on everything from scanning best
practices to lunch spots by LAX?" If the answer is yes, then join the
volunteer list!

It seems to me nothing is off topic.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] OT: Off-topic conversations

Well, one thing seems to lead to another, and
sometimes we do get off-topic. This subject came up
before. At that time, the general consensus was that
most people liked being able to talk to each other
about the various off-topic subjects that came up,
including Guido and Pratik's humorous posts. We feel
like friends, and share things, serious and trivial.
As long as we put OT and the subject on the subject
line, people who aren't interested can just delete
without reading. It is true, unfortunately, that
people are forgetting to put OT when the subject
changes from what it was originally. But readng the
first line can tell one.
