they want $400 for FineReader 8.0 Professional edition. I don't see anything
else other than a corporate edition which is $600. I was sure there was
something less expensive, but I don't see it there.
However, it may be possible that you could find 8.0 Professional for less
than that. I saw it on another site for $340. I just pasted this in from
Google's search results.

This is probably not the best price that could be found. And perhaps older
versions could be found for substantially less with a little more digging.
