Bookshare also doesn't want people rejecting a book someone else submitted,
changing their mind about validating it, and resubmitting it so they can
continue working on it. I haven't been following this thread too closely,
but that's what it sounds like happened.

If this is the case, Ernie, then you'll need to get things straightened out
with Gustavo. He may want to kick the book you rejected back to the Step 1
list. FYI, books aren't actually rejected until an administrator says they
are. Gustavo doesn't overrule rejections very often, but I have seen it
happen.

BTW, the problem with handling things the way I described above is the
credits. Rejecting a book then resubmitting it to continue validation
screws up who gets the submission credit.

Ernie, if this isn't what happened, then please excuse the message.

Gerald

Hi Mickey,
BookShare prefers that a single validator do the work on each book. This

is for record keeping purposes and copyright obligations. Sending more than
a few pages to replace garbled or missing pages is perfectly acceptable, but

sending whole books or chunks of books is not.

HTH,
Jake
