Cindy,

Bookshare archives all uploads.  If the file isn't still stored on the
server's hard drive, then it's just a matter of retrieving the file from the
archives and placing it on the Step 1 list.  Probably all that Gustavo is
really doing though is changing the status for that particular file to
RETURNNEW.  I expect that it's the status being equal to RETURNNEW which
causes it to show up on the Step 1 page.

Doesn't Gustavo keep them somehwere where they are
retrievable? I know one book that was rejected he did
put back onto the download list. I think it was Robin
Cook's Brain (still on the admin queue). I don't know,
though, if it hadn't yet been rejected by him or if,
as Ithought, he said they're never totally gone but
are kept somehwere.
