Im forwarding this Bookshare-related item to you in case you decide to
explore it and see what its all about.
The initial inquiry had to do with weeding out foreign-language materials
from ones search but perhaps this and other things can be done.

Yes, but Bookshare doesn't make it easy to find the refinements. If you are
using JAWS I think the best way to find it is to go to the very bottom of
the page of new books. You can do a control+end to get there. Then hold down
the shift key while tapping the C key. This will take you to some combo
boxes. One of them will be date range and another will be language. When you
get to language press enter to open the combo box and then press the E key
to take you to English. Tab and the next combo box will be date range. You
can adjust that or not depending on your preference. Tab one more time and
the next thing will be the refine button. Press that and you will get a list
of new books in English.

I am glad they are there for those who can read them. I checked English as
my preferred language, but when I bring up the new books search, it shows I
think it is Spanish but not sure.
