Hi Mary,

It's finding the page breaks, just not announcing them.

Hi Sandi,

Uh, so what you're saying is that your page breaks moved? Are they hard or
soft page breaks? If you do a "find" for ^m does it take you to where you
think the page break shouldn't be? I have no idea how they would move. I'm stumped. But I wonder if I'm misunderstanding the problem. I'm sorry. It's
apparent that I'm not helping.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] JAWS and the PageBreak Issue

Hi Mary,

I know you discuss this from time to time, but I need to know what to do to
show pagebreaks with JAWS. I have not had this problem before, but this
morning, with a book almost ready to submit, I changed font and size and
aligned everything left--and suddenly I have no pagebreaks. They were there till I did that, and if I look for ^m now, pagebreaks still show up--but not
in the right places, I don't think.

Thanks for any guidance you can offer!

Sandi

Hi Roger,

I only know generally what your problem is. Your e-mails are stored in a
pst file. I think that this file needs to be imported into your current
e-mail program. How to do that, I don't know. Sorry if that's not
sufficiently helpful, but it's a start.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Got into my old hard drive.

I managed to get into my old hard drive this evening. Thank you again Mike
for the hard drive enclosure. It arrived today. I was able to recover the
book I was working on. At least I think I recovered it. As of yet I am
unable to open it. I will be working on getting Open Book 9 and I hope I
will be able to open it then. I don't seem to be able to find my emails
though. After poking around for some time I did find what seems to be a
folder labeled with the same label name I used in Outlook Express where
they
should be, but I am unable to open that either. When I try it mentions
something about being a backup folder and wants me to check on line for a
program that will open it. I am not sure that it is even the folder I want
because it is called a backup folder. I thought I would be able to just
open
it and read my stored emails. I expected not to be able to read the
scanned
books I had because they are all in ark format and I suppose I will need a working copy of Open Book to read those, but I don't know what the problem
with the emails might be. Does anyone have any ideas?
