Sharon, regarding your page number problem...This is probably caused by the changing of the font from large print to regular print in Word, and especially so if somewhere along the way the file got converted to a Word document. If the original submission was in RTF, and if the scanner turned on the option to save page breaks, then the numbering should be fairly consistent. I might release the book and then download it again to get a fresh start. If the problem of page numbers appearing anywhere throughout the book is still there, then it was a scanning issue and now out of your easy control, and I suggest that you not worry about trying to fix it. If, however, the page breaks and numbering are consistent in the fresh download, then it will be easy to put in page numbers where they don't currently exist or fix them where they are messed up. Bottom line BookShare requirements don't require page numbers to be present, consistent or accurate, and it's your call as the validator if you want to try to fix it or just work on the actual text. Hope this helps, and welcome to the pool of volunteers! Peace and Hope, Donna
