When I first got to Hardy Slough the Bald Eagle’s nest was empty, I saw 1 imm. circling high over Cape Hills. Within 10 minutes the 2 imm. were back on the nest. No adults seen. The Pond Creek Marsh sandpit is set up for banding of Wood Ducks with blind & netting & rocket launchers in place. The trail back to PCM has been mowed.
