I spent some time at Sauerheber Unit of the Sloughs WMA for the first time in a
while.
It is definitely summer for birding.
I was surprised to see a imm/juv Bald Eagle on the nest at Anderson Pond. I
haven't seen any around the nests in a while.

Only saw 3 warblers (or 2, it seems chats may not actually be warblers from
what I have read.)

Saw many swallows on power lines yesterday and today, but did not stop to ID.

The Wood Duck trapping sand-spit at Pond Creek Marsh is being set up again and
is baited.
